The Kids

Here are some pictures Scott and I took of the kids the other day. We found this great creek near our house with rocks and water for the kids to climb on and play. I thought it would be a good spot to finally attempt 3 1/2 and 18 month pictures of the two of them. I should have taken some "after" pictures because after the water and mud these clothes looked gross! :)

I love the joy on their faces!

Abigail- 18 months

One of the best ones we got of them together. I wish Caleb wasn't hidden behind her, but oh well. :)

Caleb- 3 1/2 yrs old

There is...

nothing more manly than a boy playing with a pink dump truck.

He unashamedly pushes it around

Seeming not to mind the cute purple tires

"What do you mean it's pink?"

Yes, we are still working on identifying colors. :)

The Poser

Sometimes, she sits like a lady.

Sometimes, she does not.

She may be crazy
BUT...

We still LOVE her!

Father/Daughter Dance 2010

Scott and Abigail had a great time this year at the Father/Daughter Dance. He said she was all over the place and wouldn't sit still unless M&Ms were on the table. :) Ahh, a true girl! She only lasted about an hour, but I think they had a good time. It's so fun to see the pictures this year and compare them to my baby last year. I think the big thing last year was she wouldn't take a bottle. :) My, how things have changed. Oh and the big success, in my opinion, is she left her pigtails in until after pictures!

Meanwhile, this cute guy and I had a nice date to Chick-fil-A. We stopped at Walmart and I let him pick out a little toy. Surprise- he chose a crane. :) I took a book with us. No, not for me to read to myself, but I read a book to Caleb while we lingered over our meal. And I do mean linger. This kid wanted to stay for a long time! It was such a fun time and he had been looking forward to our date all week! :)

Sharing a delicious milkshake!
